Street Scramble Staff
We offer our deepest thanks to the following people who have been very important to the production of our events, many of whom have been with us for several years. Nearly all are volunteers:
- Lyn Smith – Event director and course designer for Crossroads Bellevue Street Scramble, and registrar for entire Seattle area series
- Patrick Nuss – Web results
- Doug and Joan Beyerlein – Community liaisons and course designers for Everett Street Scramble
- Glenn Rogers – Community liaison and course designer for Gig Harbor Street Scramble
- Jeff Sloane Course designer for private events
- Jody Wilson and Beth Glynn of the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department – Puyallup promotion
- Janie Morrison of the Puyallup Main Street association – Puyallup venue and promotion
- Jennifer Knowles – Course designer for Puyallup Street Scramble
- Bob Reddick – Course designer for Seattle Night & Day
- Brian and Cameron Crawford – Course designers for the 2006 Street Scramble at The Market
- Bruce McAlister – Street Scramble caterer
- Brian Thompson, Curtis Creager, LoriPhotography, and Esther Heller – Photographers
- Teresa Lord Hugel – U-District Chamber of Commerce support
- Joyce L. – Scramble prizes
- Emily Farrah – Clerical assistant
We need lots of volunteers to help put on our events. Volunteers get a great behind-the-scenes look at our events, enjoy comraderie and excitement, and get perks like free event entries, T-shirts, and invitations to our fabulous and exclusive post-series volunteer parties. Pre-event, we need help with last-minute errands the week before each event. Day-of-event, we need about 25 people to help with setup, registration, food prep, results/awards, and tear-down for each Scramble and Night & Day.
If you'd like to help and see your name on this page, please contact us.
Night & Day Challenge and Street Scramble are co-productions of
Meridian Geographics, a Seattle-based
company, the Cascade Orienteering Club,
and the Bay Area Orienteering Club.
